600' or more

One of the upper steps
Heads up a long flow of bulges, with a few steps up high that become very easy later in the season.

Getting There

In Straight Canyon, park and cross the stream at Milemark 5.7 and enter the gully. Some folks cross the stream at the MM 5.9 log crossing, though the traverse along the river is weird.

Descent

Down climb, scramble east, or rap.

Essential Gear

Ice gear, a rope might be nice for rapping.
