Overview
A 150 foot Mary's Lake climb: this sweet, sustained line asserts itself amoungst the several awesome lines on the Mary's Lake Cliffs. It has an awesome view of Joes Valley and is, in winter, a rare place to be.
Getting There directions to come.
From Mary Lake, hike West through the woods and a few steep foresed features to the base of the scree slope, and the Mary's Lake Climbs. Shlog up the slope to the base of the route.
Route DescriptionSustained throughout, an initial 25 foot step leads to a vertical 40 foot curtain/pillar (depending on conditions) that is topped by a large overhanging rock that is skirted or surmounted head-on. Follow this with another sustained 60 feet of WI4-5 and some more cool steps.
Descent: double rope rap from tree. 60 meter is helpful
Essential GearMost Mary's Lake routes require double rope raps, stubby screws, and a v-thread may be an option.
