Times needed :
less then 3 hours for the ascend
- about 1 h 45' to get the starting point
- about 1 h for the Ferrata


2 hours for the descent along the path

Getting There

 
 

From the Gajum sources, close to the Canzo's place follow the arrows to the "3° Alpe refuge". From the refuge follow the arrow to the Corni direction (arrows "Ferrata Corni") on a very steep path. After 1 h 45' from the beginning it starts the ferrata.

Route Description

 
 
 
 

The first part is the hardest due to a certain lack of natural footholds and grips so that you must often climb using the metallic chain.
The second part and the last part are quite easy and after 1 hour you are on the summit at its end you can see the summital Cross of the Corno di Canzo occidentale 1.373 m.
