OverviewThis is a fun scramble up the east ridge i haven't tried it yet but it looks fun.
Getting ThereStart your adventure at the barr trail trail head and hike to the barr camp. Then from there you walk a little ways to the ridge. Scramble up the ridge to the summit.
Route DescriptionA difficult scramble that will be a fun route.
Essential GearAll seasons:lots of food and water, head-lamps, and hiking boots
Spring:crampons, 2 ice axes, a (mountaineers rack), and a (rope)
Summer:extra water, a (rock rack), and (rope)
Fall:crampons, ice axe, and warm clothes
Winter:crampons, 2 ice axes, mountaineers rack, rope, mountaineering boots, and very warm clothes
gaiters would work great for all seasons
