Getting ThereComing from socal head out I-10 until chiraco summit. Exit the freeway and head north over I-10. Turn right imediately past the general patton museum parking lot turn right and head north on a dirt road.I think the road would fall into the 2 categorie in this article Park at end of road and hike up the wash.Route DescriptionThis 4 mile one way cross country route starts by heading north from the parking area up into munsen canyon. The canyon leads north west past victory palms which is where the scrambling starts. Continue heading north west up the canyon to lost palms oasis. You can either return the same way or arrange a shuttle before hand and hike to cottonwood trailhead via the lost palm oasis trailEssential GearWater. map
