Overview

The North Face of the Aiguille de Toule provides a short and somewhat steeper alternative to the voie normale. The berg at the base of the route can be easily avoided in early season.

Route Description

From the base of the north face ascend to the left of the smaller of two rock walls. Angle right under another rock wall toward the northwest face. Upon reaching the northwest face, ascend left to reach the summit ridge. From here, follow the sometimes corniced ridge to the summit.
