Overview

Short, easy bolted climb on Elevenmile Dome. Worth the time if you're in the area.

Happy Trails (5.6), Elevenmile Dome

Approach / Location

Bolted route to the right of Moby Grape. From the base of the Moby Grape dihedral, scramble right under a blank face with some bolts higher up to a bolted line that climbs through a nose to anchors.

Route Description

Climb the face past three or four bolts to the base of the nose. The first crux is climbing the steeper face to the lower angle face above. The second crux is more psychological - there is a bit of a run out to the last bolt and on to the anchors below the overhangs. The anchors are located just down and to the right of Moby Grape's. A little spicy at the top.

The Descent

Rappel from a bolted anchor with a single rope.

Essential Gear
