Route DescriptionAnother way to do Mount Carter is to go to through Fishhook Trail. From the Redfish Trailhead, head 2 miles to the Fishhook Creek Meadow, then about a half mile from the meadow to where the trail pretty much ends. From here follow the drainage toward Lake 9425 on the topo, and south of Mickey's Spire. You'll get up the 1st hump into a valley where it flattens out for a while only to get to a 2nd hump. This hump leads to the lake. From the lake, head north to the saddle in between Mount Carter and Mickey's Spire. From the top of the saddle, it is 5 to 10 minutes to the summit of Mount Carter.
