Cold day  Sucess!

Up from the TH on Lime Quarry Road. Well, "road" is being generous. Hard TH to find. There is no "9" on the rock but there was like a faint "X". Steep start, got the blood pumping. Few slide areas on the trail just before the gap. Fun hike on the side of the cliff bands. Found the break in the rocks to hit the ridge and then up the spine from there. Cold and windy up top but found a quiet spot behind some low pines off the summit to get a bit before heading back down. Think I'm screwed for photos though, I took a bunch but now looks like my memory card was not formatted so they are gone. :- (

Off route  Sucess!

Missed the trailhead, drove through the quarry and on up the mountain until the road became overgrown around 6600 feet. Bushwhacked to Murray Creek, then used the washout to climb directly up the mountain. Muddy conditions made us leave the gulley up high, and we climbed the snowy cliff bands until reaching the ridge. Nice easy hike from there.
