This is wrong. You do want to take the North Fork Trail, but it is not on the NORTH side of the trailhead area. That's actually the West Fork Trail. The North Fork Trail is on the east side of the area. I followed the trail from the North Side today and it took me many miles and atop an unnamed ridge point before I realized Ryan was miles and valleys away

Re: Trailhead infoThe following is also incorrect: "The trail then veers around to the north on some more swtichbacks. After a falso summit and some more thigh-burning terrain, you reach West Pass at a little over 10,200 feet. From the pass. head west up the ridge immideately to your right."
You would want to take a right and head East, not West once gaining the West Pass Ridge.
