| I attempted this peak back in January. After trudging through deep snow in the trees, then tip-toeing over steep hardpack near the false summit, we turned back due to high winds. Screw that. I came back solo near the end of summer to hike this with Stimpy. Visiting on a weekend day, I saw only two nice kids on motorbikes and 3 hikers with a dog. Surprising solitude for a peak with a trail almost all the way to the top! | |
