The prominent gully on the right is what I call the "Oriental Gully"...deep inside is a damp moss garden, like a Zen rock garden. In winter this is the most prominent snow couloir in the Front Range. I've climbed this ropeless a few times, in the dry months. About 700ft of 3rd/4th class, with a few short sections of steep rock, a few moves 5.2 to 5.7. Ascent and descent are kinda epic.

That sounds like fun. Thanks for that beta. That moss garden sounds enticing. What's the approach?

Drive up the Mt. Wilson Road, .8 miles from Redbox. Park at the large turnout that's below the obvious gully/cliffs. Hike up the canyon about 275 feet, where you'll see a rock tower with gullies on either side. Take the right-hand gully, NOT the left-hand one. There's a trip report on the SGP Main Page.
