| Steve1215 | Snow Creek--back in the day ![]() Date Climbed: May 19, 1978 | |
| To mark the 77th anniversary of Snow Creek's first ascent...I am formally signing this log. My brother and I climbed this when we were teen-agers, back in 1978. The DWA sent us a nice letter of permission to cross over their property. Very uneventful...except we almost fell through a thin snow crust to be sucked to our deaths inside dark ice caves, where Snow Creek was actually a sub-terranean torrent of raging ice water. Arrived on top at 6:30pm and slept in the hut. Also got a terrible sunburn that day. Dumb teen-agers don't always know about wearing sunscreen. --Steve | ||

| LuisGijon | Snow Creek & Marion Mountain trail Date Climbed: Apr 11, 2009 | |
| Second ascent in two weeks. 4/11 climbed Snow Creek with Miguel, Will, Bob, Cory, Charles, Tom, Edu, and Alexader. Great sunny day. Windy and freezing cold arriving to the summit. 4/5 skied up with Scott via the Marion Mountain trail. A lot of route finding, and too many trees cut that make slower the hike. Fun to ski though. | ||

| Nick Comer | From the Tram Date Climbed: Oct 12, 2008 | |
| From the tram with a group of 8. I hiked too quickly and the altitude got to me, I received a pounding headache and nausea. Made it to summit and descended via tram and was well within 10 minutes. Great views! | ||

| Blackmouth | Snow Creek ![]() Date Climbed: Mar 4, 2009 | |
| Beautifull day of climbing via Snow Creek with Miguel and Jon. We day hiked it and I made it to the summit in just under 12 hours. Lots of tracks due to the rescue up there the day before. It's hard to believe there is such an unbelievable alpine climb so close to home. I will definatly be doing this climb again. | ||

| Shon | awesome view ![]() Date Climbed: Feb 28, 2009 | |
| Went up the ridge between cornell and miller, hit miller then went on to san jac. It was a brutal hike and it was HOT! but it was worth it. Snow was mush so it was hard hiking/snowshoeing but glissaded down from the top and it was pretty sweet :) | ||

| farrisgl | Humber Park and Fuller Ridge ![]() Date Climbed: May 22, 2004 | |
| I have reached the summit twice to date, once in 1970 from Humber Park and the second time along Fuller Ridge. The later route is extremely nice traversing along the ridge with views of Coachella Valley. When the snow clears, goal is the summit from Palm springs via the skyline trail. | ||

| Hiked from the museum parking lot up to 4,000 ft elevation. How many places around here can you climb 3,500+ vertical feet and only be one-third of the way to the summit? | ||
