Recent photo?

It seems like you have some photos from September 2000 mixed in with more recent photos. Is this photo from 2010? Are these the current snow conditions down there?

Snow levels

Yeah, I am trying to monitor snow levels. I am hitting Hawkins and Pickett Peak near Luther Pass on June 27th. Will put up a page for Pickett if noone else has by then. Then Patterson with Jonodo in July. Maybe July 4th weekend Hole in the Mountain Peak near Elko, NV

Re: Snow levels

I wouldn't mind doing Hawkins again. Is it still packed out with snow up around Carson Pass? If you find out by then you could give me reply. I'm planning to get up to the Sierra somewhere probably the weekend of the 27th June.

Won't know

Won't really know until I get there. I may do a short hike on Saturday north of Lake Tahoe. Basically, Carson Pass will probably still have plenty of snow of the trails. It has been hot lately, so things are melting, but snow level that far west is still probably 9,000-9,500 feet.
