| Had a gorgeous day. Blue sky (mostly), no wind, not too cold. Hiked up with my husband. We got Panther and Couch as well. The trail was nicely packed down by people who snow shoed up a few hours before us. Fresh snow on pine trees. Had a beautiful sunset. yea! | |

| Climbed with Panther via Duck Hole Trail from Tahawus. A long, steep climb and all the mud didn't make it any easier. The views were excellent as we climbed it on a nearly perfect summer day. The whole Western High Peaks Zone has a remote and isolated feeling to it. | |

| Makes a challenging day hike from Tahawus with all the bushwhacking. The herd paths were not as developed as I would have thought. Tried to get up Santanoni in May, 1979, but there was too much snow and not enough time! | |

| Climbed this one alone on a beautiful fall day. The colors were out and the views were phenomenal. My only complaint was that there were no large, clean rocks to sit on and enjoy the view, and I did not want to sit in the dirt! | |
