| I did this with my wife and son while we were on our way to Hilton Head. Very humid and really not much of a view. More interesting to see it from the road side. | |

| I was short on time, so I did it the quick and boring way - walked up from the gate at the end of the road. The sun was setting, and there were a number of mosquitos trying to get a taste of me. The round trip from my hotel in Greenville took me about 2.5 hours. | |

| Couldn't see views at all, since it was rainy and extremely foggy. Anyway, it's crossed off the list. They need a sign or something telling people it's the highest point of SC. Pretty lame. Even my Indiana highpoint has a sign! | |

| Climbed the mountain via the Foothills Trail from Chimneytop Gap on April 12, 2008. I was pretty impressed with the type of terrain that characterized the mountain on the hike up. I was not expecting that in South Carolina. It was fairly steep and remote. Enjoyed the area. Visited again after proposing to my girlfriend, but this time we drove up. We were heading back to Atlanta after climbing some sixers in the Pisgah National Forest. | |
