| Yeah, Sassafras came about 3/4 of the way through our day and required a pretty good tug to get up. I LOVED the red columbine blooming everywhere and the dripping, mossy springs. | ||

| It was lightly raining when me and 4 friends hiked up and over Sassafras Mountain. I was impressed with the amount of wildflowers on the top. We initially were going to camp on the top of Sassafras but due to the weather decided to camp at Cooper Gap instead. | ||
