| Hiked Pinos & Sawmill last Saturday. Was planning to add Grouse as well, but missed the turn & just walked through the woods fora few miles. Beautiful day with just a little snow in spots. Only saw a couple people on the way out and no one on the way back until about half way between Sawmill & Pinos. | ||

| Kept going along the ridge after Pinos, hit Sawmill as 2nd peak of the day. Two county high points in 1 day was nice! | |

| A really cold day, but a nice walk through the forest. Lots of clouds around the summit, so not much for views. Continued on to Grouse Mtn. and Cerro Noroeste. | |

| Tagged it along with Mount Pinos with the family. Pretty uneventful. The kids were not impressed, except for the view below. Had lunch and headed back. Round trip of just several leisurely hours. | |

| Watched a truck commercial being filmed on the road below the trailhead. Water trucks wetting the road and I've never seen so many people constantly polishing a vehicle that supposedly looks rugged. | |

| While on vacation at beach home in Ventura, I decided to have a look at this area with my youngest son. Crisp Fall day. Hiked to both summits because I couldn't be sure of which was higher to my son's consternation. | |
