The page is okay - would be nice to see some pictures...
Which Schiesser is this ledge named after? I know of a Swiss alpinist with the name David Schiesser (he lost his life in the 1960s or 1970s, I think), but maybe it's a different Schiesser the given name has to do with? I'd be interested to know...
Re: The page is okay - would be nice to see some pictures...
I believe it's named after Bernie Schiesser, a mountain guide. Whether he discovered it or not I'm not sure -- I imagine it's been in steady use since the 70s.

... Bill added a few pics. As for pics, if a picture is worth 1000 words, isn't a Google Earth .kmz worth a thousand pictures?

dude...
Alpine II for this hut approach (you consider it a route?) ? damn, I just went up and over Deltaform yesterday, coming out at Marble Canyon from parking at Moraine Lake and thought that Deltaform and return was only labeled a II???? Maybe we should call yesterdays traverse a V if Schiesser Ledges is a II...try and keep the grading on the up and up, no matter what some guidebook might say. Cheers
Tom - I attached some pics that I marked up from memory(15+ years).
Probably the route is a Grade I.
Feel free to use one of the pics as a primary image pic and you should attach the page to Mount Little and to Alpine Club of Canada Hut List pages.

Re: dude...If you agree with the guidebook on anything to do with Deltaform being a II then I guess you're too rad for my grading system Dow.

Re: Schiesser ledgesThanks Bill. I don't even remember giving it a UIAA grade, but PD or PD- I think tells the story. I'll update it to read I.
