Stadlwand - Des Kessels Neue Kleider VII, 600m, OS  Sucess!

Long and well protected route, looking for the interesting rock formations and trying to avoid the characteristic pines and another non-climbing terrain. Recommended!

Route Climbed: Losenheim - Edelweißhütte - Fadensteig - Kaiserstein - Klosterwappen and back  Sucess!

Weather was wonderful. There was adorable cloud inversion at the height of approx. 700 m. Visibility was at about 200 km. Wonderful. We made a one day trip from Brno, Czech republic, where I live now. Anybody can make it in one day from Brno. It takes 2,5 hours to get there by car and we made the trip in a slow motion in nice 6,5 hours.

Route Climbed: Losenheim-Fadensteig-Klosterwappen  Sucess!

First time. Fair weather until the plateau, where strong wind welcomed us. Took a rest in the winterraum of Fischerhütte and walked out to the peak. Descending Fadensteig required much more attention and was less of a fun because of some slippery exposed parts, but people we met on the plateau reported slippery routes for the other alternatives as well, so the decision was made to descend the route we are familiar with. Afterall, the climb was a rewarding experience!

Via Weichtalklamm  Sucess!

I started my trip from Hegykö (Hungary) at 4:25 a.m. I arrived to Kaiserbrunn (521 m a.s.l.) - at the foot of Schneeberg - at 5:45. Quickly I walked to Weichtal hütte, and from there I ascended to Turmstein via the Weichtal canyon. I climbed Turmstein and then I continued my way to Klosterwappen. I was up on the peak at 9:45 a.m. Then I walked over to Kaiserstein. I descended to Kaiserbrunn via Krumbachsattel and Wassersteig. A total 22 km hiking, with 1555 m net altitude gain. It was approximately 1750 m cumulative altitude gain. I was back in Hegykö (Hungary) at 2:15 p.m.

Started early morning from Weichtalhütte, arrived at noon to Klostervappen (2076 m). Visited Kaiserstein (2061 m), and had a "Bratwürst" at Fischerhütte (2049 m). The weather was clear, but windy, it was a bit cold despite the hot sun. Same route for descent.
