| Cascade Scrambler | The only worthy summit of the day ![]() Date Climbed: Sep 2, 2012 | |
| Excellent views made up for the disappointment of Sunrise Mountain earlier. Dunno if I believe the mileage as I bagged both summits, with picture breaks, and spent time BS'ing with a bunch of people and still did the whole thing in well under four hours. The TH doesn't really meet the criteria for a TH that requires a USFS parking permit. It's literally just a dead end- on a road that should by all rights continue another mile. No services of any kind, and no signage either. Second of four summits of the day. | ||

| I have been atop these two summits a few times during the early summer wildflower blooms. Excellent show. | ||

| Nice to be back in the Wild Sky. Sunrise felt more like a high point on the ridge. I guess it is. Bryan and I continued on to Scorpion which was nicer at the end when we finally got out of the trees. We had partial sun all the way to the summit but were surrounded by falling snow clouds. Finally they closed in and we got a few flakes on the way back to the car. | ||

| Redwic | Foggy Day!!! ![]() Date Climbed: Sep 6, 2008 | |
| The forecast was for a mostly sunny day, but the area around this mountain was foggy and cloudy all morning. The trail was in better condition than I expected, and some sections were steeper than I anticipated. I really liked the memorial some people constructed at the summit. I enjoyed following Johnson Ridge Trail #1067 so much I continued to Joan Lake. | ||
