Hiked the Wasatch Crest from Guardsman Pass to the top of Millcreek Canyon. Went to Guardsman Peak, Scott Hill, Peak 10,009, Silver Peak, Desolation Peak, and Murdock Peak. Our main goal was to see the fall colors.

Before work
Ran the Wasatch Crest trail with Jun32 and Enoch this morning and had the BEST sunrise of the year on the top of Scott Hill. The moon was full and above all of the spectacular Wasatch Peaks with an amazing alpenglow to the west, and the sky was lit up with oranges and reds with the sun rising in the east. The trail was incredible with wildflowers and everything is so green because of all of the June rain. It was a fantastic day.
Another note: I don’t think you have truly lived until you have had a ‘dirt bag’ shower in the sink at the Big Cottonwood Park-n-ride.

8/19/10- Ran the Wasatch Crest with Jun32 and Matt R. We made a side trip up to Scott Hill and the views were incredible with the sunrise. Great morning.
8/24/11- Part of a 24 mile 8300 ft day that started in Lambs Canyon.

Scott HillI climbed this summit at least twice, once in late October 1993 and again on snowshoes at a later time. The hill has a cool name.
