| Brita | Cold and windy ![]() Date Climbed: Feb 25, 2012 | |
| It took much longer to get to the hike than to actually do the hike. It was steep and my legs were burning but then it was a quick run back to the car. Seeing some bighorn sheep on the trail was definitely awesome! I've never seen some in the wild like that before. | ||

| runbyu1 | Bighorn Sheep! ![]() Date Climbed: Feb 25, 2012 | |
| Drove all the way up to where the gate is---RIDICULOUSLY steep! Parked at the gate and Brita and I ran up to the summit. It may be short, but the road is insanely steep! When we came around the corner to where the summit is in view, we saw 4 Bighorn Sheep with, well, big horns! They were near the summit. I snapped a picture when we got close enough and then they ran off shortly thereafter. It was pretty cold and windy on the summit, so we took some pictures, ate a granola bar and drank some fluid and ran back with the sun setting. It was pretty nice. Easiest peak I've ever done physically, but getting there was a bit of a pain but not unbearable. | ||

| Dean | Road is gone ![]() Date Climbed: Apr 30, 2011 | |
| Parked near the "Dead End" sign because the winter storms have wiped out the road. i doubt it'll ever be restored since choppers can service the intallations at the top. Dennis and I walked up the road, 6 miles and 2500 feet in two hours and walked back down in one. Don't do this one in hot weather. My second visit to the top but a bit more effort than the last time when the road cut out half the distance and elevation gain. | ||

| surgent | A good trudge, great views ![]() Date Climbed: Aug 5, 2009 | |
| Got a pre-dawn start to beat the heat. Parked at "Dean's Last Chance Spot". Took me 90 minutes up, 1 hour down. Steep but fun. The views were tremendous and I daresay this is a much more interesting peak than nearby West Mountain Peak. | ||

| Tracy | Detour from Vegas to Zion. ![]() Date Climbed: Jul 13, 2009 | |
| Did this one with my 13-year old daughter on a warm July morning while taking her to camp. The road is steep and the views are worth it. | ||

| I liked this peak but carrying 2 kids up about killed me. Pictures and map at http://www.willhiteweb.com/utah/beaver_dam_mountains/scrub_benchmark_102.htm | ||

| Kadee | Tougher on the Car ![]() Date Climbed: Oct 26, 2008 | |
| This peak was tougher on my car than the hike was on me. The road was pretty steep, but the Jimmy made it. I also hiked this one coming home from Vegas. Greg and I took a little trip to get Charleston and Hayford - picked Scrub up on the way home. | ||

| Dean | On the way ![]() Date Climbed: Apr 22, 2009 | |
| I combined this hike with a drive home from Las Vegas. I enjoyed this hike much more than I thought I would. Did Perkins earlier in the day. | ||
