Seclusion

[ Sizes: Orig | Large | Med | Small | Thumb ]
Seclusion
This is the face of Seclusion from about the middle of the formation. Early in the morning, when no one else is around, the sensation produced by the turbulent river next to you and these cliffs jutting up just inches from its edge is that of being in one of the world's wild places.

This view shows parts of the Nubbin, Zig-Zag Edge, Stan's Lead, Sickle Face, and Snowflake climbs (right to left).

a really fun variation to this climb goes straight up the face rather than taking the crack to the right. prb. a 5.7, but suprisingly not in the book.
