climbed the south ridge w/brian, crux is a wild, body flinging rush with decent holds. outside of that, it's fairly easy, runout flatiron cruising. overall, an enjoyable day exploring the untraveled side of the second.
As Roach stated, those are some "spooky flakes"! A fun route. The crux pitch was more challenging than I had anticipated and it proved an exciting lead stepping onto that giant flake. Very cool position and great way to miss the crowds. Seriously, how often is this route climbed???
"So I was sitting in my cubicle today, and I realized, ever since I started working, every single day of my life has been worse than the day before it. So that means that every single day that you see me, that's on the worst day of my life."
