Seen from the Northwest

Seen from the Northwest
Looking up Ruby Creek from UN 12618 in the West Needle Mountains. Pigeon is on the right, Animas and Moniotor are on the left, and the fourteener Eolus is the highpoint in the background. Pigeon is huge and impressive when viewed from this vantage and probably drops an addition 2000 feet down to the river below what this photo shows. Surely one of Colorado's finest mountains. 10-10-2007.
