| pookster1127 | Old Ladies' Route | |
| Super exposure and esay routes for a beginner. Got to the South Summit on a cold day using the Old Ladies' Route. First pitch of Skyine Traverse. Several routes to the Broadway Ledge on the east side of the fin. Do not rappel to the east unless you are ready for a battle with brush. | ||

| I made the standard hike from the visitor center and scrambled all over the top. One of the neatest places in the eastern US. | ||

| Several routes to summit and some not to summit. Old Ladie's in the rain was quite memorable. | ||

| zoomloco | mid-atlantic's classic crag ![]() | |
| An amazing place with so much climbing history and ethics. sport climbing is neither. I recommend traffic jam to finish up to the summit. other recommendations lower on the peak are skyline (best 5.3 ever), ecstasy, triple s and pollux. wish I could get here more often... | ||

| Inday | Summit South Peak ![]() Date Climbed: Jul 9, 2011 | |
| Climbed south face in one pitch (70M half ropes), bad idea. Wound up fine, but a little off course. From there, three more pitches on West Face of the South Peak to the summit scramble. Best part of half ropes: it took one repel to get all the way back down. | ||

| Done this during our 9 person RV trip. Awesome rock formations! Some of the kids did some rock climbing lessons, too. I did not. :) The campground we stayed at was very very pretty and well maintained. Glad we stopped here! | ||

| Judd97 | Easy Hike + Scrambling ![]() Date Climbed: Jun 8, 2010 | |
| Easy hike up made a little harder by a fast pace (to get in shape for Borah and King's later this month!). View from the ob deck stinks, but the scrambling on the knife edge made up for it. Would like to come back and try some 5th class stuff sometime. | ||

| dharmabum | Windy! ![]() Date Climbed: Oct 6, 2009 | |
| Encountered gale force winds which continued unabated all day. Climbed Worrel's Thicket - 3 pitches, Up & Coming - 2 pitches, and 1st pitch of Prune. First time @ Seneca (and rock climbing) in over 14 years. Looking forward to returning here in the spring! | ||

| MRoyer4 | Peaceful climbing | |
| Climbed numerous routes and will climb many more. Always good to get away for a weekend at Seneca without modern technologies (no cell coverage!) and less people than the zoo at the Gunks. | ||

| Guided here for several seasons. Favorite routes were: Ecstacy, Soler, Tomato, Frosted Flakes, Triple S, Westpole. Did many ascents of Old Man's and Old Ladies, including one trip where we got 27 Boy Scouts and their leaders to the top in one day! | ||

| silversummit | Several climbs in 1970s | |
| I climbed several routes as part of an Outdoor Ed course in the late '70s. Don't remember much about the routes but I remember some P.I. at the bottom. At the time I was the only female in a group of 12 people. | ||

| First time I got to the summit doing Skyline Traverse then heading up Conn's East. Arrived just as the sun was setting. West Pole Direct was another awesome way to the top. Awesome place. | ||

| chel3178 | Amazing Experience! ![]() Date Climbed: Jul 25, 2008 | |
| This was my first experience with a classic climb. I loved the south summit! I wasn't nearly as scared as I thought I would be. I also really enjoyed the variations of the Thais route that our leader took us on. I definitely feel more confident and inspired after this trip! | ||
