Caving as an Exercise in Mind Control

Caving can be real fun as long as you don't mind acting extra-clean, while being extra- dirty: The climbing itself is often in a downward direction with lots of aid climbing techniques that come in handy: We found that the real challenge is being to control ones fears that often creep into the mind unexpectedly: These feelings can sometimes be overwhelming... Your there deep inside a sinkhole, crawling on your belly through a tight, possibly new passageway, hoping that it will go. Then, all of a sudden you realize that there lay hundreds of thousand of pounds of rock above your head: At one point I felt a crushing feeling in my skull and had to keep telling myself, it's all in my head, it's all ABOVE my head; I mean, it's in my head... Uhg! I think i'll stick to climbing outside? Just kidding, we luv Spelunking!
