| Climbed easy talus slopes from Hancock Lake. Continued on to UN 13147, Monumental, Van Wirt, UN 13111 & Chapman. A long and unpleasant talus slog in a relentless, cold wind. | |

| Had my doubts about actually making it to the summit but what looked like a nasty steep scre slope, turned out to be a fairly stable slope covered with large rocks. A rugged mountain well worth climbing. | |
