big plans for sheeprock were destroyed by constant 30-35mph winds. summited via acid crack, but had enough of fighting the wind and called it a day afterwards.

With Pete and Luke. Did the South Ramp route, then rappelled down and did Acid Crack and Bolted Route. Good times!

South Ramp 5.5
I LOVE this rock! Beautiful landscape, saw a herd of sheep, flowers and cactus blooming, bomber bluebird day...what is not to like? Oh, yeah...the approach. :)

Oops!
Climbed via two routes: Bolted Route (5.7+) and Acid Crack (5.5). Led both. Climbed Charley Don't Surf (5.10d) on Acid Rock beforehand thinking it was Acid Crack! Leader had to resort to aiding thru the crux! Memorable day out.
