Shirley "hiking" in Otto's chopped steps on lower half of P4 of Otto's Route. This is a slabby, low-5th class (runout) section directly below the summit cap-rock. Belay for P3 is atop the large ledge below Shirley (Feb. 6, 2005).

First climbing experience for us in CO (2nd time on CO soil) and what a great fun day it was. Perfect weather and great climbing. This was only a graze of CO though (what, like 50 miles into the state?) - next time hopefully we can hit some alpine stuff in the heart of the state in the summer....So many plans, so little free time :(

You need to lose weight, Radek. You can't be leaving footsteps in rock like that. That's unacceptable.

I agree.

I realized it even day before when I couldn't get my fat a.s into the squeeze slot on the Priest....

Maybe too many post-climb celebration beers?
