Shot this on a full moon...

Shot this on a full moon night back in 1990, I believe. It was approximately a twenty minute exposure, and I was pleasantly surprised to see the lights from a couple bivys on the face when I got the film back.

Actually, I believe it's an airplane. Notice the intermittent bright blips, corresponding to flashing wingtip lights.



Here is an example I did in 1993 of the Watzmann in Bavaria.

It also shows lights on the wall but due to longer exposure time - I guess?? - you can track the climbers' movements on the wall.

very nice exposure. I don't think it is 20 minutes though the star trails don't look long enough.
