Approach

From The Chalet follow the red marks (they are starting from the bord of the lake). It takes about one hour to get to The Black Lake (Czarny Staw). Following red marks go on the E bord of the lake and then upwards.

Route Description

Southwards, until you reach chute. There is a snow - ice field - don't go on it. Than turn East still following the marks. On the scree, go East. On the plates, that are further east, there are some chains helping to climb. The path passes and repasses through a ridge. Zmarzly Staw (Frozen Lake) is seen on the east. After a few minutes (chains) path gets back to the West side of ridge. Now only few minutes to the peak. Polsh/Slovakian border.

Essential Gear

If there is a snow crampons are useful, but no necesserely. No rope or any climbing equipment is needed
