Sice (read Shice) is one of 3 people that still live in Zagon hamlet (Zagon photo). When approaching Stap from Ljubotic village, which is normal access, you'll pass through Zagon. They are some of the very few people that still live in wilderness (away from the roads) on whole Velebit massif. Sice is strange looking and funny guy, a legendary figure for frequent visiting hikers. He always asks for cigarettes so if you are going to Stap take a pack for him. He also sells domestic brandy made of aromatic plants that grow on seaboard side of Velebit. Coming here is like going to the past but you realize that isn't the case when you see that Sice has a mobile phone and solar phone charger (there is no electricity there of course)!

Fascinating! It's stuff like this that adds an extra dimension to the mountains on SP. And yeah, he is pretty strange looking...

	Hasn't voted	:-) Well, you know that I hesitated, since Stap page exists on SP, to put him online but finally couldn't resist. He is trademark of the area, people should be warned :-) It's amazing world we live in today, man lives hidden in the wilderness of Velebit and yet people around the world know about him now. I hope I didn't ruin his life, maybe he'll become a celebrity ;-)

	Hasn't voted	hehe, I forgot :-) I don't do it to prevent people from coping photos and that is not what I want. Pictures from SP end up all over the place so at least that way their origin is known. He would certainly appreciate it but I seriously doubt many people who read SP go through Zagon :-) But, you never know, it's a small world.
