Signal and So. SignalThese two mountains sit at 11248' (South Signal) and 11262' (Signal) and form the eastern terminus of the Mummy Range. South Signal sits just inside a nook of Rocky Mountain National Park while Signal sits in the Comanche Peak Wilderness area, as does most of the trail. In Colorado, treeline is generally at 11400', but the Signals are both above treeline due to the fact the summits are quite windswept during all seasons. Lots of marmots live on Signal Mountain.
