Very nice shot.

I actually think that the Couloir looks pretty good. When I hiked it at the end of June, there was snow all the way down to the notch.

This is NOT good snow! It's brand new wet granules thrown on top of dirty ice. Crampons would still be difficult in these conditions and an axe would not find good purchase for an arrest. If you want to bust out some ice climbing crampons and technical tools - go for a dirty solo with no pro - maybe.
