Rocky Mountain NP in a sunny snowstorm!

Rocky Mountain National Park on March 2, 2016 We spent a day in RMNP at the end of our house hunting week in Colorado. The rangers let us drive up to the Bear Lake trailhead during a blinding snowstorm that was punctured with moments of brilliant sunshine. Hardy hikers on snowshoes and skis were parking cars and going in at the trailhead to hike. I will post more pictures later; packing and preparing to move to Colorado in June is keeping us pretty busy!

Which part of the state are you moving to ?

Definitely did! Our late January blizzard was a record breaker. We bought a house in Colorado Springs near Cheyenne Mountain; settle in late May.

Yeah, should have wiped that cone out in photo processing!
