	Hasn't voted	wow I've never seen any Patagonian glaciers but I'll take your word for it. This was actually the cleanest glacier I saw in Iceland, the rest were covered in black volcanic dust and tephra.

As many have said the scale and angle really sets this picture off, but...!
I wonder if the views from the top of Tryfan was once like this...?

	Hasn't voted	Probably, at least it would have towards the end of the glaciation when the ice sheet was much smaller. At its maximum, Tryfan's summit would have only just protruded above the ice, if it did at all, and the landscape would look like something much more akin to that of present day Antarctica.
