Sky High Lakes

Lower Sky High Lake and Frying Pan Lake from near the PCT. Although popular, these lakes provide a great basecamp for a hike to the Marble Mountain. Boulder Peak, highest point in the Marble Mountains peers over the ridge in the upper right.

Shadow Lake actually lies at the foot of the dark rock on the right of the picture. This shot was taken from the ridge directly above (east) of the PCT. Have you spent much time in the Marbles?

I figured this was taken pretty close to Shadow Lake. I camped there a few years ago, and have a similar shot.

And yes, I've been up there about half a dozen times. I really like it up there.
