| Amazing little summit! The views are quite impressive! Road my mtn bike to the top of this from the Ft Valley (hwy 180). It was about an 1 hour round trip from the road. I think I was the first one on the summit this year | |

| Did an easy hike on Slate Mtn with friends who weren't up for Humphrey or Kendrick. Really enjoyed the views and was glad to even see the Grand Canyon as it often lost in the clouds whenever I'm on Humphrey's Peak. Slate Mtn appears to be very popular with horny toads- I saw more on the trail in 2 hours than I have seen over the last decade in Arizona. | |
