Get all four seasons in a single week

We've been visiting the Smokies over spring break for some years now.

I thought it would be fun to draw together images of the Smokies in March. Our hikes and backpacking trips have encompassed overnight lows in the teens up to daytime temps of 80 degrees F. We've had swings from the high 20s to the low 70s in a day.

You never know what you're going to get, which keeps things interesting . . .

All of these photos were taken in the month of March, almost all on the Tennessee side.

Parents refers to a larger category under which an object falls. For example, theAconcagua mountain page has the 'Aconcagua Group' and the 'Seven Summits' asparents and is a parent itself to many routes, photos, and Trip Reports.
