Just before dark
I'd spent all day hiking in the Czech part of the Iser Mountains. The shelter at the base of the observation tower was open and tidy, but I felt like bivouacking outside. The weather was favourable, nearly 10 degrees Celsius, hardly any wind. And there was a privy nearby :-)
Made a nice round trip from Swieradów. Fantastic day.

Nice steady upward hike and a rough downward climb. Path was pretty rough.

Many times, in fact...
I reached the summit of Smrk late afternoon, August 5,2008, just before a sudden heavy rain. In fact, I was here many times before and I admired panoramas which we can see from a view-tower built on the top of this mountain.
