Use the standard Fortress approach from KY 77. This approach trail is on the left side of the road just before you get to the second pull-off after you go uphill from the intersection of KY 77 and KY 715. Once you've reached the rock follow the trail left until you come to a boulder the size of a large van. Snake is approximately 50 feet past this boulder. It can be recognized by looking for a crack that starts wide and narrows to hand size as it takes a winding route up the face.
In the beginning this route is beefy but is soon takes a change to accommodate many wristlocks and good pro. Start up crack that leads to a chimney. Chimney a few moves then swing out onto the face and head for the hand crack, follow the crack and take the right fork at the top. Gain a ledge the anchors will be about 25 ft. to the right.
Slings, a couple of small stoppers or cams (0.0 or 0.1Metolius) the chimney has a small constricting crack in the back. Once you reach the hand crack the gear is 0.75 thru number 2.0 camalots.
If you have information about this route that doesn't pertain to any of the other sections, please add it here.
