| A late winter ascent. Through snow patches in Obri Dul and 1 Inch fresh snow at the summit ridge to the summit in clouds. Because of the unstabil wheather conditions we use the cable car for descent. | |

| It was a great day,we had perfect,warm,weather,so we walked over Vyrovka,Lucni bouda and Slaski dum to Snezka,where we had nice aspect and then we returned the same way.Krkonose are just perfect mountains... | |

| My wife Rosario and I climbed Snezca from the Czeck side on a sunny but very cold day. We made the last winter ascent of the year as it was the last day before spring. There was a lot of snow, much of surprise for the modest altitude of Snezca. Few people at the summit, wonderful landscape , you could see many miles in all directions. Alf | ||

| A trekking has been made during a different weather. Summit of the Snezka is always very cloudy and windy. There is difficult to take here a good picture. Sometimes I resigned to reach of summit due to very strong wind, especially in autumn. | |

| Route: Via Polana and Lucni bouda 3 August 2006 Windy day- 20th time on the Snezka summit. Route: Via Kociol Lomniczki 1 August 2006 Classical. I didn't plan to reach the top but the weather was great so I decided to make my trip little bit longer. Route: Via Kociol Lomniczki 28 August 2004 Just a little trip including Samotnia.Nice weather.11 minutes from Slaski Dom. Route: Via Kociol Lomniczki 5 July 2002 Solo.I wake up earlier to reach the top of Sniezka and met my mates in Lucni Bouda.That day we went to Spindleruv Mlyn and via Kotelne Jamy and Szrenica came back to Poland-Szklarska Poreba. Route: Bialy Jar 1 July 2002 Following the paths of tragedy.Lonely day on my favourite mountain-the day of of my 18th birthday.Just a kind of gift. Route: Via Kociol Lomniczki 25 June 2002 Classical Karkonosze's trip.Sniezka via Kociol Lomniczki,descent including Strzecha Akademicka Chalet,Samotnia Chalet.Spending some time climbing in Samotnia-very nice time. Route: Via Sovia Dolina 4 May 2002 Lots of snow but without danger of avalanches.Solo ascent,very calm day,one of my best summit days on Sniezka. Route: Via Kociol Lomniczki 2 May 2002 Very snowy.Danger of avalanches.Needed to quickly pass the avalanche prone part in Kociol Lomniczki.On the summit ridge of Sniezka there was less snow due to exposition to the wind.Descent via Slonecznik and then to Polana.Very difficult because of melting snow which made a really big and fast-flowing river in lower parts of the mountain. Route: Via Kociol Lomniczki 6 July 2001 I ascended Sniezka and descended via Bialy Jar in 2 hours 54 minutes.I just wanted to see it's possible to do that in less than 3 hours.That was the only reason for that trip.And of course the fact that I really love this mountain.Solo. Route: Via Samotnia 28 June 2001 Samotnia is dfefinitely the most beautiful place in Karkonosze.Peaceful,calm especially in the morning when everyone in the chalet is sleeping.Observed small snowy(!!)avalanche. Route: Whole ridge of Karkonosze 15 July 1999 Statring at 5 a.m. from Szklarska Poreba we did a whole one day trip of main ridge of Karkonosze.Summited Snezka for the 10th time.Finishing the trip at Okraj Pass(7 p.m.) and additional two hours of walking to Karpacz.Exhausting but nice. Route: So called "Traverse" 7 July 1998 Yellow path from Jelenka Hut.In my opinion it much better way of reachin the top from Czech side.Nice views of the Czech part of Karkonosze,nobody on the trail,interstin path-I really enjoy that one. Route: Ruzohorky 16 July 1997 I think that this route is bit boring.Going along the chair lift on the wide path.In the upper(steeper) part there are special made "stairs" in the path so it's not even hiking.I really don't like this route. Route: Via Kociol Lomniczki 25 August 1995 Descending to Bialy Jar.We met a person who told us lot about the tragedy of russians skiers in Bialy Jar.I remeber there was a small pile of stone and the tradition is everyone who is in BIaly Jar should put a add a stone to the pile.That shows that people remeber about the tragedy. Route: From Kopa Summer 1994 After few times on the top I didn't want to get there another time.But I was with my cousin so I had to.It was also great opportunity to see Sovia Valley-on of the prettiest place in whole Karkonosze. Route: Via Kociol Lomniczki Summer 1993 That was the Day of Mountain Guides.It was the only day in that times when the border line on Snezka was opened.The weather was bad but we wanted to see the Czech side.Spending nice time in upper station of Czech's chair lift few meters below the summit. Route: From Kopa Summer 1993 Repeating the second trip from 1992,this time in good weather.Just to see Sniezka from Skalny Stol,it looks quite diffrent,noone expects that kind of sight. Route: From Kopa Summer 1992 Bad weather,noone on the trail,that's very rare on Sniezka.Later that day we went to Okraj Pass via Skalny Stol(Rocky Table). Route: From Kopa Summer 1992 Good weather,easily reaching the top.Descending to Sovia Pass. Route: Via Kociol Lomniczki Summer 1990 My first "serious" mountain....ascended from Karpacz via Kociol Lomniczki....I was 6 years old. | |

| First and unfortunately only Karkonosze Mountains experience ...so long ago ,high time to get back ! A bit overcivilized and usually overcrowded summit ,almost always very windy up there - absolutely worth visiting ! | |
