Hasn't voted | Thanks Merrill, lot's of snow in the Cascades this year. May or June should be good conditions for Rainier, Hood or Adams. You sometimes just go with your instincts & (weather).
This campsite gives you easy access to the popular South climb of Hood. It's to the left of the main route toward Illumation Rock, at about 8800 ft. So you are less than 2600 ft from the Summit. Sometimes it gets a little windy!
