Snow Worm
Small black-colored worms, such as this one, were found atop and within the morning snow near Ten-Four Mountain and Haystack Mountain, in Snohomish County, Washington.

I have been told that although these worms were acting similar to glacial ice worms, these were probably just young earthworms. Any insight would be much appreciated.
