Not sure I should sign this since I drove but the road was just too nice to want to hike it. Nice views. I used my hiking time to climb Tripod (and also Granite)

Willow Creek & Collier
BIG snowshoe day up Willow Creek, over Collier Peak, then up through the clouds to Snowbank. Wouldn't have made it without the Platt brothers breaking trail! Here's a trip report with photos.

On the way to Gem Cohp
Bob Bolton and I visited this peak prior to going over to do the county highpoint of Gem county. You can see the cohp from Snowbank mtn and could easily do a cross country walk over to it, which would be preferable to the convoluted and confusing drive we had to make to make our way over to where it was a five mile hike. I'll post some pics.

Nice Drive
Nice drive. ! took my wife so I had to do something she'd enjoy too. There was still a LOT of snow near the to! There were still people snowmobiling and snowboarding in June!

EclipseWatched the total solar eclipse from the top of this peak. One of the most amazing things I've seen! Great view from the top otherwise as well!
