Re: North bowl?I don't think he was checking the lines, but I could be wrong. If you see his tracks, you see he is making a big left turn off the summit, across the top of the east face, but is now heading towards North Bowl, where he dropped down. However, I can see how the caption might confuse people who weren't there that day, so maybe i'll change it.
and yes, it was a very sweet day on Tallac, which by the way is nowhere near my office window :-(
