Hasn't voted | Thanks for all your comments and encouragement. It was a great climb, and not as hard as I thought it was going to be (trained *very* hard). Will add a trip report soon. | | Posted Oct 26, 2006 4:16 pm |
| Diggler | Congratulations! | |
Hasn't voted | I'm guessing that you're the only person from the little mining town of Nevada City who's ever summited an 8,000m peak. :) Good job- looks awesome. | | Posted Oct 26, 2006 5:08 pm |

Hasn't voted | The tallest peak (towards the right of the photo) in the sun on the horizon is Shisha Pangma, highest peak in the Langtang Himal. One of the sunlit peaks to the left of Shisha has to be Langtang Lirung (RIP Tomaz Humar). If you click to enlarge, I believe you can see Manaslu and Annapurna faintly, just to the left of Shisha.
Note that Manaslu is about 130 miles away from the summit of Cho Oyu!
Congrats on your summit.
