So I got to the Sloan Peak...

So I got to the Sloan Peak side of the log I failed to work up the guts to cross going the other way. After taking this picture, I promptly walked across. I figured the less I thought about it the less fear I would have. Not waiting also helped in that a nice gust of wind hit the log the moment I reached safety on the other side. July 14, 1995.
